These terms govern your use of the CAT LAB website at catlab.london and, where applicable, the CAT LAB platform accessed through it. CAT LAB, the Creative and Advanced Technologies Lab, is a research and teaching facility of the University of Westminster. By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable law, is fraudulent, or seeks to harm or impair the site, its security, or other users. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to it.
We may update, suspend, or withdraw all or any part of the site at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted.
Some areas of the site are available only to registered members, University of Westminster colleagues and students, who sign in through the platform's secure login. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.
Access to the Lab's facilities, equipment, spaces and services is subject to the Lab's registration, training, and health-and-safety requirements. You may be required to complete safety training and agree to specific terms of use before using particular facilities or equipment.
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, design, graphics, and the CAT LAB name and identity, is owned by, or licensed to, the University of Westminster and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content for commercial purposes without our permission.
Where you submit content to the platform, such as project work, images, or portfolio material, you retain your rights in that content, and you grant the University a licence to host and display it for the purposes of operating the Lab and the platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
This website may contain links to third-party websites. Those links are provided for your information only; we have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss that may arise from your use of them.
